The Red Barn team of course did a fabulous job last week at our Annual Conference in Seattle. I have a story to share. There is always ONE attendee that just can’t be pleased. This year's person was not willing to use her phone to get the agenda and ask questions through the QR code. She was pretty irritated with Chivan about the lack of a printed agenda. Chivan took the time to make her an agenda pulling all the panels, speakers, bios, and content from the web onto a printed handout just for her use. It wasn’t easy with all the competing priorities of the day and the logistics executing a conference, but Chivan did it with humor and kindness. She was blown away he took the time to make this for her and so she could have a successful conference. 

This is what above and beyond looks like and I didn’t want to miss a chance to share how wonderful Chivan operated under pressure. I am so grateful for his help.

I was also stunned by the decor Alison brought to the event! That was completely unexpected and wonderful. It saved the day when an attendee accidentally turned off all the lights in the main ballroom during the keynote address. The speaker said, at least she could see there were little lights out there and kept speaking!
